A Checklist for your “Umzug”

Upright prior to your move, you should go through the given checklist and assure you have attended done everything on it.
An Umzug like the germans call it, is a big thing - so please look for the following questions.
Have you bought all new utilities for your new flat?
Have you asked for closing readings and did you gave them further – or do you want to give them first after the first day?
Did you informed your banking concern, cellular telephone provider and any other parties who regularly charge you at your previous address?
Do you sign up a gardener, milk deliverance, housemaid servicing or other third party service on a regular basis that you want to cancel?
Have you ordered a mail redirect?
Have you disconnected the water, gas and electricity?
The Germans also know something like Umzugsunternehmen for all of this issues.
